Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients in a physician office, clinic, or hospital setting
• Ensure correct patient identification using two identifiers and obtain diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation
• Explain procedures to patients and families to alleviate fears and ensure cooperation
• Maintain safe, up-to-date knowledge of all imaging equipment and follow radiation safety practices
• Complete routine cleaning, equipment calibration, and inventory management
• Accurately enter diagnosis codes, order tests, and scan reports into EMR

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) certification required
• Current IEMA Radiography license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in radiography (2 years preferred in mammography, CT, and C-arm)
• Strong computer skills with EMR proficiency
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
