Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to pediatric clinic patients within the scope of LPN licensure
Triage patient calls, assess urgency, and coordinate appropriate care or provider follow-up
Take and document vital signs accurately and monitor patient status
Manage prescription refills and complete prior authorizations to keep care moving smoothly
Serve as the primary patient liaison, communicating clearly with families, providers, and staff
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient care plans and clinic flow
Direct and guide CNAs and schedulers to ensure coordinated, efficient clinic operations

Qualifications

Current State LPN license (required)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Graduate of a Nursing Program
Comfortable performing pediatric triage, vital signs, and medication/prescription management
Experience working in clinic nursing and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Education

Graduate of a Nursing Program

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing care and pediatric clinical assessment
Patient triage and telephone assessment
Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
Medication/prescription management and prior authorizations
Care coordination and patient advocacy
Leading CNAs and coordinating with schedulers and clinical staff
