Shift Type: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (shift may vary per assignment)

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care under the supervision of RNs and physicians
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes in condition
Document patient care and observations thoroughly in electronic health records
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for each patient
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Maine
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and team members
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
