Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (variable days), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Night

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care for overnight patients in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the medical record
Monitor patient status, assess changes, and escalate concerns to the interdisciplinary team
Support patient mobility, safety and rehabilitation goals during the night shift
Communicate clearly with day staff during handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment that promotes recovery and dignity

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN licensure (Class: LPN or RN) — eligible to practice in New Mexico
Per diem availability and comfort working overnight/12+ hour shifts
Strong communication and teamwork skills for the rehab/acute care setting
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) as required by facility policy

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate documentation
Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Experience with rehab and overnight patient care routines
Ability to recognize and respond to changes in condition
Familiarity with electronic medical records and handoff communication
