Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care including assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
• Support safe mobility and transfers while using proper body mechanics
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, dressing, and toileting needs respectfully and professionally
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep residents safe
• Contribute to a positive environment by collaborating with staff and supporting family interactions

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (VT or NH licensure referenced in posting)
• Reliable personal transportation required; public transit in the area is limited
• Ability to work the assigned day shift and meet the 14-week travel assignment schedule
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements, background checks, and immunizations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program and current LNA license

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with direct resident care and activities of daily living
• Basic vital signs measurement and clinical observation skills
• Familiarity with charting, documentation, and reporting changes in condition
• Knowledge of infection prevention and safe handling procedures
• Good time management, organization, and interpersonal skills
