Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate behavioral health care to inpatient residents, delivering assessment and treatment tailored to each person
• Lead crisis intervention and de-escalation efforts when patients need immediate support
• Develop, implement and document individualized care plans in the patient record
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure continuity
• Monitor patient progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate changes to the treatment team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility policies and regulatory standards
• Support family engagement and provide education to promote recovery and safety

Qualifications

• Licensed Behavioral Health Professional (required)
• Experience working in inpatient behavioral health settings
• Demonstrated ability in crisis intervention and patient assessment
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to work the scheduled days (Sunday through Saturday coverage as required by facility)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and treatment planning for behavioral health diagnoses
• Crisis management and de-escalation techniques
• Familiarity with inpatient care workflows and safety protocols
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Competence in clinical documentation and electronic medical records
