Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour day or night shifts to be determined per roster period, 3 shifts (36 hours) per week following orientation, plus 2 12-hour call shifts per 4-week roster period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to high-acuity patients in a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Master equipment like Meditech and Point Click for seamless workflows
Float to other critical care and step-down units when needed, broadening your impact
Respond swiftly during call shifts to make a real difference
Collaborate with the team at Hilo Medical Center to save lives daily

Qualifications

Active Hawaii RN license required by start date
BLS and ACLS certifications
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (online option available)
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
Flexible and ready for varied shifts including holidays

Education

RN licensure with relevant ICU background

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in intensive care procedures and patient monitoring
Proficiency with Meditech and Point Click EMR systems
Strong critical thinking for high-stakes environments
Adaptability to float across critical care units
