Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and direct hospital staff during night operations to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience.
• Coordinate assignment and utilization of nursing resources, making timely decisions to balance workload and patient needs.
• Oversee interpretation and application of policies and procedures, providing clear guidance to clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Monitor staff productivity, deliver constructive feedback, and coach team members to support professional growth.
• Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical leaders, and the Chief Nursing Officer on administrative and clinical decisions.
• Respond to patient and family concerns with empathy and resolve issues to maintain high-quality care and satisfaction.
• Organize workflow, ensure duties are delegated appropriately, and step in to manage critical events or surges in patient volume.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Montana.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a hospital setting with recent ICU experience preferred.
• CPR required; ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Experience with ventilator-supported patients, A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, multiple IV pumps, and cardiac monitoring.
• Proven leadership experience such as charge nurse, resource nurse, or nurse leadership roles.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to lead under pressure.

• Degree from an accredited Nursing Program (RN)
