Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Cost Accounting system to produce accurate service line profitability analyses and monthly service line and physician practice P&Ls.
• Oversee the Decision Support system to support major strategic and financial planning projects and drive data-informed decisions.
• Prepare and validate financial feasibility models in STRATA, calculating ROI, payback period, NPV, and IRR for capital projects.
• Lead reporting to external rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA) and compile required submissions and audit support documentation.
• Develop and run templates and reports for reimbursement, cost reporting, community benefit reporting, and annual financial audits.
• Train managers and directors to interpret productivity software and use decision support outputs to improve performance and cost management.
• Provide oversight and support for software implementations, including STRATA forecasting module, ERP components, and leasing software.
• Mentor and develop the decision support supervisor and special projects analyst to build a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and/or decision support (required).
• Experience with STRATA financial software or a similar platform (required).
• Healthcare experience, preferably in a hospital or health system environment (required).
• Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Health Administration (MHA).
• Preferred: Financial and/or healthcare certifications (e.g., HFMA, CPA, or related credentials).
• Preferred experience in hospital contracting and reimbursement, bundled payments, and physician reimbursement.
• Proven experience training managers, overseeing software implementations, and reporting to external agencies.

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• Master Degree in Business Administration or Health Administration (preferred)
