Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in patient condition promptly
• Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks to support high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care
• Demonstrate reliability and professionalism, arriving prepared and ready to contribute each shift

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
• Demonstrated experience in direct patient care preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate patient-centered approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Patient safety, infection control, and proper PPE use
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
• Time management, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
