Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility to promote comfort
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Document care delivered clearly and accurately so the care team stays informed
Collaborate with nurses and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
State-required credentials for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain them
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks
Prior experience in long-term care or acute settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital sign measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and mobility support
Infection control principles and facility safety practices
Teamwork, time management, and attention to detail
