Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care and daily living assistance
Monitor and report vital signs and patient changes to the nursing team
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics at all times
Document care activities accurately and timely in patient records
Work collaboratively with nurses and care staff to enhance patient comfort and outcomes

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of California
Current CPR/BLS certification
Proven experience in direct patient care preferred but new CNAs encouraged to apply
Strong communication skills and a friendly bedside manner
Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
Willingness to work per diem shifts, including 12-hour day assignments

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and accurate charting
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Patient transfer and mobility assistance techniques
Time management and prioritization during busy shifts
Team communication and patient advocacy
