Clinical Applications Analyst

Location: Soldotna, AK

Start Date: 06-01-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM day shift with some on-call and non-business hours work required

Hours per Week: 8

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide application support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for assigned healthcare systems
Deliver comprehensive training to end users on clinical applications
Support system integration and information exchange initiatives
Manage projects from selection through implementation and documentation
Participate in software testing and quality assurance processes
Collaborate with the IS team to enhance overall service delivery
Backup support for additional hospital-supported applications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Health-related field, or equivalent relevant experience
4 years of experience with EMR, PACS, ERP, or other healthcare applications
Intermediate SQL experience required
Familiarity with HL7, DICOM, and EDI standards
Project management proficiency preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or Health-related field (relevant experience may substitute)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and training skills
Understanding of healthcare workflows and clinical systems
Experience with application integration and data exchange
Project management and documentation expertise
