Location: Aberdeen, WA

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Primarily day shift, 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday 40 hours/week, hours vary according to OR schedule, with on-call hours

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Maintain aseptic environments to ensure patient safety in OR, PACU, and Day Surgery
Prepare equipment and supplies swiftly for seamless procedures
Assist surgical teams with precision and calm under pressure
Keep areas clean, sanitary, and ready for action
Support department operations with clerical tasks as needed
Collaborate with physicians and staff to deliver top-notch care

Qualifications

Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
Active Washington state license
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in hospital surgical settings preferred

Education

High School graduate or equivalent (GED)
Successful completion of Surgical Technologist Course or equivalent experience

Knowledge & Skills

Mastery of asepsis and sterile techniques
Expertise with surgical instruments and equipment
Ability to work swiftly under stress
Strong judgment and decision-making in fast-paced OR environments
Team player who collaborates with diverse physicians
