Roles & Responsibilities

Facilitate safe and effective surgical procedures with your sterile technique expertise
Collaborate seamlessly with RNs and the OR team to deliver optimal patient care
Prepare meticulously for procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency
Maintain strict aseptic standards and infection control per AORN and AST guidelines
Monitor equipment functionality and patient positioning for outstanding outcomes
Jump into action during critical situations to support the team and save the day
Share your knowledge with colleagues and stay ahead with ongoing skill development

Qualifications

BLS certification required
Surgical Technologist Certification preferred
Associate Degree preparation preferred
Experience in scrubbing techniques, sterile field maintenance, and accurate counts

Education

Associate Degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Mastery of aseptic techniques and infection control
Proficiency in patient positioning and safe equipment use
Sharp eye for instrument, sponge, and sharp counts
Strong communication and collaboration in high-pressure OR environments
