Location: Skowhegan, Maine

Start Date: 07-01-2026

End Date: 08-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:00 AM - 2:15 PM (30-minute meal break), includes weekend shifts

Hours per Week: 37

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversations
Maintain a clean and organized environment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Maine (or compact state) required
Must be fully active in the Registry per facility requirements
Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
Ability to work weekend shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail in documentation and vital sign monitoring
Team player with a positive attitude
