Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Accurately document care provided and patient responses
• Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Active state CNA license or certification for New Mexico preferred
• Basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or will be requested upon hire
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and patient-centered
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus

Education

• CNA certification (required)
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of personal care techniques and safe patient handling
• Familiarity with infection control and basic hygiene practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Good documentation and time-management skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
