Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
Support mobility and safe transfers while promoting independence
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and emotional support
Document care activities clearly in the resident chart and report observations promptly
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certificate or completion of an approved nursing assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and infection control procedures
Comfortable assisting with transfers, ambulation, and mobility aids
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and report changes in patient condition
Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
