Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition changes accurately and promptly
- Support safe mobility and transfers while following proper body mechanics
- Assist nursing team with treatments, documentation, and care plans to ensure continuity
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and basic clinical tasks
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Local candidates preferred; this opportunity is local-only
Education
- High school diploma or GED and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control practices and safe hygiene
- Basic charting and oral/written communication
- Ability to follow established care plans and direction from nursing staff
