Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patients’ comfort and safety
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care thoroughly and maintain clear communication with nurses and families
• Support mobility and fall-prevention protocols to promote safe ambulation
• Help create a warm, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Ability to work the 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM day shift and every-other-weekend rotation
• Comfortable providing personal care and following care plans
• Able to pass background checks, drug screening, and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and proper PPE use
• Good observational skills to notice changes in patient condition
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Basic documentation and electronic charting familiarity
