Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document changes in patient condition accurately and promptly
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and ambulation with proper technique
• Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team about resident needs
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean care environment
• Assist with meal service, basic hygiene, and comfort measures
• Contribute to a positive, respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Ability to work overnight per diem shifts, including extended hours
• Comfortable performing direct patient care and basic clinical tasks
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Ability to pass background check and any facility-required screens
• Basic computer or electronic charting familiarity preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Understanding of infection control and resident safety practices
• Skill in vital signs collection and reporting
• Reliable time management and documentation skills
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
