Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, supporting activities of daily living
- Assist nursing staff with vital signs, patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
- Communicate changes in patient condition clearly and promptly to the clinical team
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols for safety and infection control
- Support patient dignity, emotional needs, and engagement during the night shift
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and assisting with personal care tasks
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Previous patient care experience is a plus but new grads of accredited CNA programs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer/mobility assistance
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
- Accurate vital sign measurement and observation skills
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks on night shifts
- Teamwork mindset and clear communication with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
