Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and prepare for cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures, including LHC, RHC and PCI
• Operate and support advanced devices and equipment such as Impella and IABP during cases
• Manage ventilator support when required for patients in the cath lab
• Prepare and maintain GE imaging equipment and ensure optimal imaging support during procedures
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately in Meditech
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and collaborate with the team to maintain patient safety during procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure all cath lab supplies and instruments are ready and functioning

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience (explicitly required)
• Demonstrated experience with Impella, IABP and ventilator management
• Proficiency with Meditech and familiarity with GE imaging equipment
• Comfort working independently and as part of a 3-person procedural team
• Strong communication skills and a hardworking, positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac cath lab workflows and procedures (LHC, RHC, PCI)
• Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella) and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP)
• Ventilator basics and patient monitoring in procedural settings
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR documentation
• Experience with GE imaging equipment
• Vascular/peripheral intervention and EP experience are nice-to-have
