Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday, Friday, Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support residents with meals and hydration, promoting nutritional health
Maintain a clean, organized environment to prevent infections
Offer emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in West Virginia (or compact state)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
At least one year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
Willingness to commit to a 9-week travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
Time management and attention to detail
Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and effective communication
