Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry readings and interpret cardiac rhythms to ensure patient safety
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide compassionate care and education to patients and their families
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EHR
Qualifications
- Current California RN license in good standing
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry or acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
- Knowledge of cardiac medications and their side effects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
