Shift Type: Varied days, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (8-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Sterilize and prepare surgical instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols
Inspect and assemble instrument trays for surgeries
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and ensure proper storage
Operate sterilizers and document sterilization cycles accurately
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure timely availability of instruments
Adhere to safety and quality standards to support patient care

Qualifications

Current CPR certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
Certification with CBSPD or HSPA preferred
Active California state license or eligibility
BLS/BCLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
