Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Quality Management and Accreditation program across the system, setting strategic priorities and operational goals
• Manage day-to-day quality, accreditation, infection prevention, employee health screening, patient safety, risk management, compliance, and credentialing activities
• Develop, implement, and refine quality policies, procedures, and performance improvement initiatives using PDSA cycles
• Serve as subject matter expert for accreditation standards and coordinate regulatory and accreditation survey activities
• Collaborate with EHR teams to integrate quality measurement capabilities and produce actionable quality reports
• Investigate complaints and administrative issues, provide recommendations, and report findings to executive leadership and the board
• Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, and professional development

Qualifications

• RN license or comparable clinical degree required
• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) required within 18 months of hire
• Master's degree in a health-related or business field preferred
• Minimum five years of health care administration or performance improvement management experience
• Minimum three years supervising health care professionals
• Demonstrated experience with accreditation processes, infection prevention, risk management, and quality improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Education

• RN license or comparable clinical degree (required)
• Master's degree in health-related or business field (preferred)
• CPHQ certification (required within 18 months of hire)
