Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, varied start times, manager determines schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile field in a fast-paced 7-suite OR
Assist surgeons during a variety of cases including orthopedics, general, gynecology, pediatrics, and eyes
Handle surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
Anticipate surgeon's needs and respond quickly during procedures
Ensure strict adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols
Collaborate with charge nurse and surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

2+ years of Operating Room experience required
Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
Travel experience strongly preferred
Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes

Education

Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in sterile processing and aseptic technique
Experience with Cerner Surginet EMR
Knowledge of autoclave and V-pro sterilizers
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to variable shift start times
