Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop personalized care plans using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments to achieve the best outcomes
• Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers on speech and swallowing strategies
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, coordinated care
• Document all services accurately and maintain thorough patient records
• Supervise and mentor CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists
• Participate in care conferences and facility trainings to stay at the top of your field

Qualifications

• Active Missouri State SLP License
• CCC certification from ASHA
• At least 1 year of SLP experience with Level II clinical experience
• LTC or Rehab experience preferred
• New grads welcome with appropriate clinical background
• Strong commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active ASHA certification and state licensure

• Standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Electronic documentation and regulatory compliance
• DME coordination and patient advocacy
