Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive SLP evaluations to determine patient needs and goals
• Provide daily treatments that improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic function
• Coordinate and execute safe discharges with clear home recommendations and follow-up plans
• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Document thoroughly and promptly to meet facility and CRG policies
• Meet productivity expectations (90%) while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
• Follow facility dress code and be present on-site to receive guaranteed hours

Qualifications

• Active SLP license (state licensure required or eligible) — ability to work in New Mexico preferred
• 1-3 years of clinical SLP experience (as listed)
• Prior SNF experience strongly preferred
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) a plus
• Ability to follow CRG policies and meet productivity expectations
• Willingness to wear black scrubs and be present in the building during assigned shifts

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (preferred)
• State licensure required; CCC-SLP preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in SLP evaluations, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Experience delivering daily therapeutic interventions for dysphagia, communication, and cognition
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with SNF charting practices
• Effective interdisciplinary communication and teamwork
• Productivity and time-management skills in a clinical setting
• Understanding of infection control and safety practices in long-term care
