Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to neonates in the NICU
Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions continuously
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate and support families during their infant's stay
Ensure accurate documentation and maintain EPIC proficiency

Qualifications

Current RN license in Illinois
BLS certification required
DCI/BVP certification required
Proficiency in EPIC is a must
Previous NICU experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of neonatal intensive care protocols and best practices
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
EPIC proficiency for efficient charting and coordination
