Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to patients on a Neuro Stepdown unit
Monitor and assess patients with neurological conditions
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
Document patient progress and communicate changes effectively
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Louisiana
Previous experience in neuro or stepdown nursing preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in neurological assessments
Knowledge of stepdown unit protocols
Expertise in patient monitoring and emergency response
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
