Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and critical lab values
Administer medications and interventions per protocol
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends/holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expert assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients
Advanced cardiac life support and trauma nursing
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Telemetry interpretation
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
