Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; 36 hours/week; schedule includes every-other-week (EOW) and holiday coverage

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer and titrate cardiac drips (including amiodarone and diltiazem/Cardizem) safely and accurately
Continuously monitor cardiac patients via telemetry and intervene promptly for arrhythmias or deterioration
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Perform thorough assessments, document changes, and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change
Maintain competency with specialty-specific protocols and complete required Trinity assessments

Qualifications

Active RN license with license/certificate verification (state verification required)
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Demonstrated experience administering and managing cardiac drips (amiodarone, diltiazem/Cardizem)
Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
Compliance with required health screenings and vaccinations (fit test, respirator evaluation, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, influenza, PPD/IGRA, varicella, physical, drug screen)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac medication knowledge and infusion management
Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Critical thinking and rapid assessment skills in high-acuity cardiac patients
Clear clinical documentation and effective communication during handoffs
Comfort working overnight shifts and covering every-other-week/holiday schedules
