Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Manage ventilators and deliver life-supporting treatments using advanced equipment
Perform ABGs and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment and care planning
Collaborate with physicians and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
Assist with intubations and respond to respiratory emergencies with confidence
Educate patients and families on breathing treatments and respiratory wellness

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Active Kansas state license
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working with adults, pediatrics, and neonates

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and high-flow oxygen therapy
ABG interpretation and EKG performance
Hamilton ventilators and Vapotherm systems
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift
