Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro patients including those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, and spinal surgeries
Monitor and interpret EKGs while safely titrating critical drips like Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver fast-paced, patient-centered care on a bustling 32-bed unit
Float to other telemetry units as needed, showcasing your adaptability and clinical expertise
Educate patients and families about their conditions and recovery plans, making a real difference every day

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Level 1 trauma background
Neuro experience highly preferred
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam and skills lab on day one

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
Experience safely titrating cardiac and insulin drips
Comfortable caring for trached patients, stroke recovery, and post-op neuro cases
Familiarity with Cerner EMR and WOW documentation
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
