Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients on a 28-bed PCU/Med-Surg unit
- Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
- Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic assessments to keep patients stable and comfortable
- Collaborate with an amazing multidisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, dietitians, and educators
- Float to sister units when needed while delivering the same excellent standard of care
- Champion hourly rounding and patient experience initiatives that make a real difference
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
- BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
- EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months preferred
- Chemo certified and comfortable with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
- Valid driver's license to confirm 50-mile radius eligibility
Knowledge & Skills
- Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing best practices
- Titration of drips such as insulin and cardizem
- Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz, and EV-1000
- EPIC electronic medical records and Alaris IV pumps
- Strong teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and genuine patient advocacy
