Shift Type: As needed, flexible shifts per diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to step-down patients transitioning from ICU
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient responses to treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
Minimum 1 year of step-down or ICU experience strongly preferred
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
Comfortable with electronic health records (EHR) systems
