Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to patients in a dynamic hospital setting
Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge instructions
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania in good standing
Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care nursing experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team
Flexibility to adapt to different units and patient populations

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
