Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac patients and titrate drips including Cardizem and beta blockers
Provide continuous EEG monitoring for stroke and seizure patients
Deliver compassionate care to adults and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, and diabetes needs
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining excellent communication
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration experience
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Positive attitude, excellent communication, and commitment to helping others

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia interpretation
Titration of drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Continuous EEG monitoring
Stroke and diabetes patient care
Critical thinking and quick problem-solving
Team collaboration and clear communication
