End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and patient care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and DaVinci robotics
Collaborate closely with surgeons, OR techs, and the care team to ensure smooth procedures and excellent outcomes
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma cases when needed to support the broader hospital mission
Maintain flexibility as daily schedules vary and service lines are not specialized
Educate and mentor fellow staff while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous learning

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong experience in Neuro and all surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced OR without specialized teams
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90 percent or higher during orientation
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
Ability to adapt quickly to varied daily case mixes
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to educate others and share clinical experiences
