Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM + Call evenings and weekends. On call one evening a week (3:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 Saturdays or Sundays a month (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate across all surgical specialties with confidence and skill
Support complex cardiovascular procedures including CABGs, TCARS, and carotids
Assist with intricate neurosurgical cases such as craniotomies and spinal procedures
Handle diverse orthopedic surgeries from trauma to joint replacements
Navigate robotic-assisted procedures using both Mako and DaVinci systems
Precept and mentor fellow team members when opportunities arise
Deliver exceptional care across general, eyes, endo, and cysto specialties

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact state
Minimum 4-5 years of hospital operating room experience
Proven ability to circulate in cardiovascular, neuro, and ortho procedures
Experience with both Mako and DaVinci robotic systems
Strong references and exceptional clinical skills
Willingness to float between Bryan and College Station campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise circulating CABGs and cardiovascular cases
Proficiency with craniotomies and neurosurgical procedures
Robotic surgery experience with Mako and DaVinci platforms
Ability to handle ortho trauma, total joints, and complex cases
Knowledge across multiple specialties including general, eyes, and endo
Strong precepting and mentoring capabilities
