Location: Herrin, Illinois

Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with call requirements including 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental, physical, and spiritual needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and procedures
Utilize clinical judgment to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Circulate during orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic surgeries
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Ensure compliance with core measures and quality standards
Maintain accurate and complete medical records

Qualifications

Current and active Illinois Registered Nurse license
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
Ability to circulate ortho, urology, spine, and robotic surgeries
Proficiency with PointClick EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of perioperative nursing and surgical procedures
Strong patient assessment and care planning skills
Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration and communication
Clinical judgment and critical thinking in fast-paced environments
Expertise in circulating for a variety of surgical specialties
