Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities within a 60-mile radius, adapting quickly to new units and patient populations
Manage a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity while delivering safe, high-quality care
Titrate Heparin drips and monitor patients with complex medical needs
Collaborate with designated Charge Nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Support adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, and navigating detox or psychiatric care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
Neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile zone and adapt to various acuity levels including ICU holds, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills across diverse patient populations
Comfortable floating between units and facilities with little notice
Experience with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other respiratory equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends (6-9 shifts per 6-week schedule) and occasional holidays
