Shift Type: As needed, 12.5-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $44 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the med/surg unit
Assess, plan, and implement nursing interventions to promote healing and recovery
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and home care
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
At least one year of recent pediatric med/surg experience strongly preferred
Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong pediatric assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and patient-family education abilities
Team collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
