Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to pediatric patients in a med/surg setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for children with a variety of conditions
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
Experience in pediatric or med/surg nursing preferred
BLS certification required; PALS preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric nursing best practices
Medication administration and IV therapy
Patient and family education
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
