Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Every other weekend & holiday, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and state laws
Document patient care according to standards of care
Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient plan of care as prescribed by physician or hospital policy
Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities
Utilize clinical expertise to guide other units and departments in support of patient care
Apply critical thinking for patient safety and experience, escalating concerns as needed

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin (WI)
Current BLS/BCLS certification
NIHSS certification
Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Willingness to float to other units as needed
Education verification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of nursing process and standards of care
Ability to administer medications and treatments safely
Strong documentation and charting skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
