Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every third weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across antepartum, labor, triage, postpartum, and newborn stages
Monitor and manage common drips including Pitocin, insulin, fluids, and antibiotics
Collaborate with the charge nurse to ensure safe patient ratios of 1:2
Support families through every stage of the birthing journey with skill and empathy
Float to MedSurg when needed to help the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience
Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with Alaris IV pumps
Comfortable caring for 100-125 births per year in a 4-bed unit
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for LDRP patients
Ability to work every third weekend and adapt to rotating shifts
