Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule made 6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care across multiple ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU
Titrate critical drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin with confidence
Float within a 60-mile zone to support patient needs across seven facilities while delivering consistent excellence
Monitor and interpret telemetry independently, responding quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with respiratory therapists and the care team to troubleshoot vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Support patients on advanced therapies such as CRRT, IABP, and Impella with 1:1 attention when acuity demands

Qualifications

Active Colorado or compact RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience; first-time travelers need 3+ years plus Epic experience
Comfortable floating between ICU, PCU/Stepdown, and Med-Surg Telemetry units
Epic charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expert titration of critical care drips
Strong telemetry interpretation skills
Ventilator, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow management
Flexibility to adapt across multiple ICU environments
Clear communication and teamwork across diverse hospital settings
