Shift Type: Flexible 12.5-hour shifts, day/evening/night rotations available

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the emergency department
Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient needs with quick decision-making
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to provide seamless care
Administer medications, start IVs, and manage life-saving interventions
Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes
Document accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact license eligible)
Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
PALS certification strongly preferred
Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expert assessment and triage skills
Proficiency in emergency procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
